- Back Pain
- Neck Pain
- Knee Pain
- Bursitis

How does Cold Laser Therapy Work?
Dr. Les Pachter D.C. uses a handheld device, about the size of a flashlight, and places it over the injured area for 30 second-several minute intervals. Non-thermal photons of light penetrate the first 2-5 centimeters of the skin, which then interact with light-sensitive elements in the targeted cells.
The absorbed photons cause a reaction within the cells that promotes cell growth, reduces pain and inflammation, and improves healing time. Cold Laser Therapy treatments are often compared to the reaction of photosynthesis in plant: light is absorbed by cells and then converted to energy, which causes growth. Different sizes and doses of lasers can be prescribed for various injuries and treatments.
